There are several tell tale signs that your are being scammed.

1. The buyer is asking for money back.

2. The buyer is outside the USA.

3. The buyer is offering an out of country cashiers check.

The first thing you need to do is slap yourself in the face and get your brain working. Get serious, who is going to ship your car overseas? You are selling an 8 year old jaloppy and some buyer from Nigeria is going to ship it accross the ocean?

Then to top if off, they are sending you thousands more than the asking price. Would you trust a complete stranger, in another country, with thousands of your dollars? Nuf said!
